MEMBERSHIP RATE & DESCRIPTION
Annual subscriptions shall be payable in advance on the 1st day of January of each calendar year, payable within thirty days, whether demanded or not.

CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP
Corporate Membership is opened to all Corporate Fire Installation Contractors, Fire Protection Equipment Manufacturers and Suppliers, Architects, Engineers, Consultants, Insurance Companies and all those directly interested in the Fire Protection field and who indicate in writing their willingness to abide by the Rules of below:
- All Corporate members must have a minimum paid-up capital of RM25,000.00.
- All applications for Corporate Membership must be proposed by one ordinary member of the association and seconded by another.
- Admission to Corporate Membership of the Association will be by a simple majority vote of the members of the Central Committee at a meeting of the Committee.
- Every ordinary member of the Association (in this context ordinary member refer to corporate, individual –professional member, life corporate, life individual members only) shall be entitled to attend and vote at the Association’s General Meetings. Each ordinary member is entitled to one (1) vote only.
- All representative of corporate membership must be employees of the Company.
- Members can be nominated to join the Technical Sub-Committee related to the field of work and industry
- Members will be invited to participate in public events organized by the Association
- Members will receive a copy of MFPA Berita Magazine twice a year
Individual Membership – Professional Member
Individuals who satisfy any of the following conditions shall be eligible to apply for individual membership:
- Individual who is Malaysian Citizen, 18 years of age and above.
- Individual who is either registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia as a Professional Engineer or the Institution of Engineers Malaysia as a Corporate Member.
Individual Membership – Trade Member
Individuals who satisfy any of the following conditions shall be eligible to apply for individual membership:
- Individual who is Malaysian Citizen, 18 years of age and above.
- Individual who has a record of practicing in the fire industry for a minimum of 2 years.
- Individual who holds a Sole Proprietorship Trading License.
Associate Member
Associate Member is open to Government and Government Agency officers.
Student Member
Student Member is open to student who are 18 years of age and above, and are interested in the field of fire protection and fire safety.
