Event Details for Seminar Towards Holistic Compliance

The Malaysian Fire Protection Association (MFPA) is pleased to announce that the Seminar Towards Holistic Compliance: The Role of Fire Safety Consultants, Competence Persons, and Contractors under the Fire Services Act 1988 (Amendment) 2025 will proceed as scheduled on 1 September 2026.

The seminar will be held at:

Connexion Conference & Event Centre
Level M1, The Vertical
Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur

The seminar brings together fire safety consultants, competence persons, contractors and other industry stakeholders to enhance understanding of their respective roles and responsibilities under the Fire Services Act 1988 (Amendment) 2025, while promoting a more holistic approach towards fire safety compliance.

Registration

Registration will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at the foyer of The Vertical, Connexion Conference & Event Centre, Level M1.

Participants are encouraged to arrive early to allow sufficient time for registration before the seminar begins.

CPD and Certificate of Attendance

A Certificate of Attendance will be issued to participants following the seminar.

Participants are not required to submit the event flyer for CPD purposes.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation must be made at least seven (7) working days prior to the event date.

Please note that registration fees already paid are non-refundable.

Failure to make payment and/or failure to attend the seminar without prior notification will be considered as attendance. The participant will subsequently be billed and invoiced after the event.

Vegetarian Meals

Participants who require vegetarian meals are kindly requested to inform the Secretariat at least three (3) days before the event.

Parking Information

Parking at The Vertical is available at a flat rate of RM7.00 per car per entry.

The Vertical operates a license plate recognition system. Parking payment can be made using:

Participants are required to validate their payment card at the validation machine located at the concierge before exiting the parking premises.
