Personal Data Protection Notice (PDPA)
The Malaysian Fire Protection Association (“MFPA”) is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“PDPA”).
The personal data provided by you in this Membership Registration Form will be collected, processed and used for the following purposes:
- To process and assess your membership application.
- To verify your eligibility and supporting qualifications.
- To maintain and administer your membership records.
- To communicate with you regarding your membership, renewals, events, seminars, training programmes and other activities organised by MFPA.
- To issue invoices, receipts, certificates and other membership-related documents.
- To comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Your personal data will only be accessed by authorised MFPA personnel and may be disclosed to service providers engaged by MFPA where necessary to facilitate the administration of membership or where disclosure is required by law.
MFPA will take reasonable steps to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, misuse, disclosure, alteration or destruction.
You have the right to request access to or correction of your personal data by contacting MFPA at office@mfpa.com.my.
